We've had a great experience with Dog House. Our Boiler went out on a Saturday on an especially cold day in December. We called Dog House who answered promptly (even on the weekend) and sent out a technician who was on call. John S arrived to our house within 2 hours and was excellent. He quickly diagnosed and fixed our problem. He had the needed part with him in the van. Within one hour we were back up and running. Aside from the prompt recovery of our system, John also took the time to explain to me exactly what the problem was, where the fix was, and walked me through the system as a whole and potential timelines for future upgrades. It is currently an old system and we are first time home owners so the extra time John took to explain this all to me was extremely helpful. All in all we rate Dog House Heating in Brunswick, ME 5 stars and we will certainly be calling them again for all of our HVAC needs.

EDIT: We have used Dog House again and this time for plumbing needs. Josh M was our technician and he was also great. We will continue to use Dog House for our heating and plumbing needs. All of our experiences with them have been 5 stars.

Nick and Hanna showed up promptly in Brunswick , ME this morning to replace 5 old broken thermostats with new wifi based Ecobee thermostats . A NYT's Wirecutter article had rated Ecobee the best new tech option .The former wire based controls were dysfunctional and did not pair well with my new Rinnai boiler . They had to reuse and rebuild elements of the old system which enabled control of each new thermostat and room temperature . All done in 6 hours including lunch . Now I can observe and control heat from home in Colorado using my phone .
