Carson T. And Orren worked on my furnace and were very thorough, kind and professional. They asked me and went over pros and cons before making any decisions. They talked to me about ways to keep my furnace working properly. They also showed me a few important things happening in my basement that were not even furnace related. You guys are great! I've been using Dog House for 8 years and will continue as long as they are in business!

We have worked with Noah for several years. He is highly skilled, knowledgeable and thorough. He is transparent about the process (and cost) and allows time to show his customers what any issues are so they can understand and learn about them in real time. Noah has discovered different issues and repaired them promptly which has prevented us from having emergencies with our furnace and related parts. We've had a great experience with Dog House. Our Boiler went out on a Saturday on an especially cold day in December. We called Dog House who answered promptly (even on the weekend) and sent out a technician who was on call. John S arrived to our house within 2 hours and was excellent. He quickly diagnosed and fixed our problem. He had the needed part with him in the van. Within one hour we were back up and running. Aside from the prompt recovery of our system, John also took the time to explain to me exactly what the problem was, where the fix was, and walked me through the system as a whole and potential timelines for future upgrades. It is currently an old system and we are first time home owners so the extra time John took to explain this all to me was extremely helpful. All in all we rate Dog House Heating in Brunswick, ME 5 stars and we will certainly be calling them again for all of our HVAC needs.
EDIT March 2026: We have used Dog House again and this time for plumbing needs. Josh M was our technician and he was excellent. He arrived on time, was honest about the scope of the work, and knocked it out in a day. Josh was very professional and thoughtful being in the house and making noise while we had a baby. He even offered to not do certain tasks during nap time and shift focus to other tasks during that window.
We will continue to use Dog House for our heating and plumbing needs. All of our experiences with them have been 5 stars.
EDIT March 2026: We have used Dog House again and this time for plumbing needs. Josh M was our technician and he was excellent. He arrived on time, was honest about the scope of the work, and knocked it out in a day. Josh was very professional and thoughtful being in the house and making noise while we had a baby. Joe Hash and Nick Wilkerson did a great job replacing our old defunct Fujitsu heat pump with a new one that is now working fine. They were both very professional in this installation, explained clearly what they had done and how to use the new system. We had to wait a few weeks to get them here but it was worth the wait!

Great service from start to finish. From the first phone call all the way through the process they were friendly and attentive. The tech they sent to the house was friendly and efficient and left me with zero questions. I would definitely recommend to a friend.

Called to set up an appointment for a furnace cleaning. They did an excellent job and the price was below just about everyone else. The technician showed up on time, and I received a text saying he was on his way. He explained what was to be done and there were no hidden charges. I would highly recommend them.

We loved working with Dog House! Another company came out to my house 3 separate times for my heating not working correctly and ultimately just told me to buy a space heater!! Dog House was great and coming in and assessing the problem and fixed it in one visit. HIGHLY recommend!

These guys are amazing! I have been having an ongoing issue with my boiler for about 3 months and Dog House has been patient and very helpful in trying to figure it out. All of their technicians have been super nice and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Dog House!!

Wonderful company!! Highly recommended!!! My boiler exploded late on a Friday night in January and Dog House was at my house within 30min to inspect the situation. I needed a new boiler as soon as possible. After getting seven quotes over the next few days, Dog House was able to provide the highest quality boiler at the lowest rate with the fastest installation. I had a new boiler within five days when no one else was able to do anything for another week or two. I was so incredibly pleased with everything from start to finish. The work was excellent, the customer service exceptional and the comfort in knowing that they can take care of an emergency in a timely fashion is priceless.

Dog House replaced our old oil boiler with a new gas boiler. Their service was excellent in every way! I highly recommend them. The office staff, the installation technicians and owner John all provided great customer service. I especially appreciated how knowledgeable John and the technicians are and that they always took the time to explain everything thoroughly.

Exceptional service, before, during, and after! After reaching out to several places to fix our old furnace with no response or some cop-out excuse, their receptionist reached out to me and scheduled someone to come out THAT DAY. My boyfriend had been trying for about a month to get someone to even say they'd just look at the furnace! Long story short, they got us an amazing deal on a new furnace and installation plus fixed a bunch of issues due to a poor installation of the prior furnace. The men who installed our furnace were very polite and courteous and worked all day to get the new one up and running. Even after the furnace was installed (and working WAY better than the old one) they pointed out that the still had to come back later to replace the electrical stuff. I honestly wouldn't have been the wiser had they not told me and I really appreciate them standing behind their services. I can't say enough good things about Dog House. Thank you all so much!
