I was pleased with the services that Liberty and Dan provided to us on May 29, 2026. They successfully unclogged the drain in our primary shower that had very severe calcium buildup. I was particularly impressed by the fact that they were able to change some water lines and had all of the supplies they need on their truck. We wanted to bypass our water treatment system for our outdoors faucets. Normally a plumber would have to come back with the necessary supplies, but Liberty and Dan had everything they needed and were able to make the change efficiently and quickly. Liberty was also very good about doing some follow-up research for another plumbing problem that we are experiencing.
Our plumber of many years recently retired, and I was a bit nervous trying someone new. I was pleased to find a Maine-based company in Doghouse that provides good service and is creating opportunities for young people in Maine. Doghouse has a corporate feel that I'm not used to but, overall, I was impressed and I would use them again.

Dog House plumbers Dan P. and Alex T. recently made requested repairs in my home. They replaced an aging expansion tank and all the related pipes, including the main water shutoff, at the point where our well water enters the basement. They also replaced the well pump breaker and pressure gauge. In addition, they replaced a leaking on-off valve and both hoses for our washing machine.
I am pleased with the results and with the technicians' willingness to keep me informed about how their work was progressing and to explain what they did and why.

Wonderful company!! Highly recommended!!! My boiler exploded late on a Friday night in January and Dog House was at my house within 30min to inspect the situation. I needed a new boiler as soon as possible. After getting seven quotes over the next few days, Dog House was able to provide the highest quality boiler at the lowest rate with the fastest installation. I had a new boiler within five days when no one else was able to do anything for another week or two. I was so incredibly pleased with everything from start to finish. Exceptional service, before, during, and after! After reaching out to several places to fix our old furnace with no response or some cop-out excuse, their receptionist reached out to me and scheduled someone to come out THAT DAY. My boyfriend had been trying for about a month to get someone to even say they'd just look at the furnace!
Long story short, they got us an amazing deal on a new furnace and installation plus fixed a bunch of issues due to a poor installation of the prior furnace.
The men who installed our furnace were very polite and courteous and worked all day to get the new one up and running. Even after the furnace was installed (and working WAY better than the old one) they pointed out that the still had to come back later to replace the electrical stuff. I honestly wouldn't have been the wiser had they not told me and I really appreciate them standing behind their services.

Liberty and Dan were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about our hot water concerns. They offered options and advice that will help us move forward. I was very impressed with their proactive attitude and communication skills. I look forward to doing business with Dog House in the future.
I was pleased with the services that Liberty and Dan provided to us on May 29, 2026. They successfully unclogged the drain in our primary shower that had very severe calcium buildup. I was particularly impressed by the fact that they were able to change some water lines and had all of the supplies they need on their truck. We wanted to bypass our water treatment system for our outdoors faucets. Normally a plumber would have to come back with the necessary supplies, but Liberty and Dan had everything they needed and were able to make the change efficiently and quickly. Liberty was also very good about doing some follow-up research for another plumbing problem that we are experiencing.
Our plumber of many years recently retired, and I was a bit nervous trying someone new. I was pleased to find a Maine-based company in Doghouse that provides good service and is creating opportunities for young people in Maine. Doghouse has a corporate feel that I'm not used to but, overall, I was impressed and I would use them again.
